No, you can't. The U.S amatuer program sucks. Guys are trying out for your Olympic team after 15/20 bouts.
He's definitely got a chance but his weight category is wide open. A lot of Good fighters at 52kg. The Russian Aloyan will be favourite but anyone of Selby (UK), Conlan (Ireland), Oubaali (France), Latipov (Uzbekistan), Mamishzade Azerbaijan), Ramirez (Cuba) or Raushee could go all the way.
Selby will be difficult to beat on home turf I think, gold at the european championships last year and a silver in the worlds (lost 13-12 Aloyan) I'm looking forward to seeing how this weight class turns out.
Raushee is a beast. If he doesn't win gold it don't matter cause he's got all it takes to be a great pro. Some random Euro who we'll never hear of again after the Olympics and who will turn pro and fail or not even bother will proly win gold, Raushee might not even win a medal but it won't matter cause as a pro he'll go further than any of the medal winners.
niether have a very good shot. ramirez is in deep with lomachenco and valentino and i think selby and conlon have a better chance than ******
