I didn't realise but this channel showed the mijares fight live last night, and is repeating the fight tonight at 9pm. Probably worth keeping an eye on what these guys show as they could potentially pick up some of the fights sky and setanta pass on. :happy
I heard that they are now going to show fights from the uk and other big fights from around the world.
I don't think they showed the main event. I watched most of the undercard, there was about 1/2 hour of the programme left and a 12 rounder on the undercard had only just started.
They don't always show what is listed. I tuned in twice yesterday for the Mijares countdown, but they interviewed a wrestler for 1/2 hour instead.
Yeh I posted this in the boxing on british tv thread. People should check that thread every now and again. It can be useful :good
Yep. Not a bad channel at all. They used to be the wrestling channel but then changed to fight network because they wanted to show more varied programmes. Seen a few old British fights on there a couple of times and the odd recent American bout.
It's certainly a strange channel! You get the likes of 'Real Catfights' but then I found myself watching the Calzaghe-Hopkins weigh-in on there when Setanta couldn't be bothered to show it on any of their multiple channels
They showed the full card, the program ran for about an hour and half past the schedule so the main event was shown as (what should have been) the next program.
Cage Rage etc is fun to watch but some of them guys just can't punch to save their lives. A half decent boxer would deliver a combo and KO them before they had a chance to grapple. David O'Donnell always makes me laugh with his enthusiastic presenting style. I think even Andrew Geer laughs at him. Never understood why they have that shitty announcer for the Cage Rage shows.
well i started watching the show tonight and the quality made it look like it had been ripped from a .avi file or something. also, in one of the undercard fights it went to an ad break in the middle of a round! i gave up at that point.
