Why is main event not showing Ortiz vs berto 2 ? Is there anyway we can see it live in Australia without the Internet? They better show maidana vs Alexander or I'll be dark

Main Event may not have placed it on their site as yet, the fight is over a month away.

Main Event with their **** poor International coverage regularly announce televising overseas fights only 2-3 weeks before they are due to happen.
Pacman & Floyd fights are often announced more in advance.

So you guys reckon they still might show it? I mean if they showed margarito cotto and Peterson khan which weren't PAC or floyd fights and not including Aussies I just assumed they would show berto Ortiz. Also I read that showtime are showing the fight and not hbo I wonder if that's a factor

Showtime televising the fight wont affect us in Australia at all.
Main Event have many times televised Showtime cards over the years.

Main Event may or may not pick it up (i think they probably will), but if i were you send Main Event an email from their website.

I emailed ME yesterday re Ortiz v Berto 2 and they came back and said they will not be showing it! Bummer!

I am hoping they will show Chavez Jr VRubio/Donaire v Vazquez Jr which is not a bad doubleheader!

Well there you go Main Event aint showing it.

Who knows who makes their decisions...showing Sonny Bill Williams, but not quality overseas fights.
Then again fight like Ortiz va Berto II should really be on Fox Sports LIVE.

I am not interested in watching sonny bill Williams attempt to box. But I am definitely interested in watching genuine fights eg Ortiz berto 2. Go figure. Am I the minority and has the world gone insane or is Main event barking up the wrong tree.

The problem is that Main Event would far better numbers with Sonny Bill Williams. What boxing fans are better off doing is contacting 7Mate or whoever it was that broadcast the Darchinyan fight and continually asking for them to pic up feeds such as Berto vs Ortiz II.

We are in the minority. The SBW circus will sell better than Ortiz-Berto 2 due to him being so well known.

So if there Not showing the Ortiz fight does anyone know of any fights (real fights)on this year that may get to ppv for us. The ones that I can think of is maidana vs Alexander, wladimir klitschko destroying that French guy, hopefully katsidis can bounce back , and it would be good to see the Peterson and khan rematch sometime soon too
