Does anyone know what is happening here???? Wasn't there talk of there being a series this month, is it comming back??
I'm not tipping a comeback... Just my opinion, but it promised a lot, but really, was just another set of fight cards.. No decent titles or the like to get the mainstream 'buzzing' about it on-going. Again, just my opinion.
Yeah I wouldn't expect a comeback to be honest. I remember at the time it finished someone on here seemed to have some kind of inside info that they'd shitcanned it. Shame really, although throughout the whole run there were only 2 or 3 good fights.
Spoke to Channel ONE about this some time back. They said definately no more this year, and there aren't any firm plans for next year in place at this point in time. Basically it's off the radar, and not sure why really, as reports had the ratings as being very good.
the fights they had were ok. the production was absolute ****. utter complete ****. if these guys arent producing or talking about afl they are ****ed. they are so annoying.
liz ellis talking about afl. darryl beattie talking about boxing. that **** from australian idol talking about afl. shithouse really. how do we trust these guys to run a boxing programme?
