boxing on Network T.V.

    it is naturer of the sport, you can get killed, so everybody go's to where the most money is, that is why HBO and showtime control it in the USA

    Showtime, which is owned by CBS, is trying to get CBS to put fights up, but so far CBS isn't biting.

    Itthink viacom owns, CBS,showtime and many other tv type of channels and Time warner AOL owns, HBO

    I guess that's why Golden Boy have wrapped up that deal with ESPN for FNF, which get's alot of viewers but pay's barely any license fee.

    Why is the UFC still on Spike then? Has DLH ever even been on network tv as a pro? No doubt he'd of brought in the numbers.

    It probably wouldn't be that difficult to get boxing on networks but the promoters would have to bite the bullet financially, which has never been their nature.
