Manny Pacquiao, no. 1 P4P boxer - "I can beat Dela Hoya"

Samson Lewkowicz, International boxing matchmaker - "Pacquiao and Dela Hoya is a very intriguing fight. Even if he (Pacquiao) is small he has a good chance of winning"

James Toney, top heavyweight boxer - "Manny has skills, Pacquiao will knockout Dela Hoya with his power"

Freddie Roach, well respected boxing trainer - "De La Hoya was slow, can’t pull the trigger and will be knocked out (by Pacquiao)"

I googled that fellow Samson Lewclownicz and it turns out he has ties with filipino fighters.

James Toney is the ****ing man but you can't give him any credence for picking Manny. He hangs out at Wildcard.

Roach is just in it for the money.

If Toney hangs out at Wild Card, maybe he know something about PAC's power.

If the fight happens at 147 i believe Pac stands a good chance of winning.

DLH will have to absolutely kill himself to lose those extra few pounds thus deminishing his already suspect stamina. If Pac can stay on the outside for the early part of the fight, pot shotting Oscar and occasionally jumping in for a quick combo, it will start to waer Oscar down. As Oscar tires, increase the pace.

If the fight's at 147 and Manny boxer's increadibly smartly he can win.

If the fight's at 150 then Manny shouldn't take it.

Pac is boxing alot smarter now these day's. He doesn't just go all out like he used to. It's why he didn't just run at and try to blitz Marquez in their rematch.

His performance against Diaz also showed a maturity he hasn't really shown before. In the diaz fight he used his brain more instead of just relying on his natural ability's. It's what Roach has been trying to get him to box like for awhile now. It finally seem's like Manny is listening.

Why do you seem to think it's set in stone that Oscar will win?

I'm still in awe how much the Diaz fight is giving this much of a barometer to certain fans in regards to a match against DLH.

First off DLH won't be a stationary target.

DLH isn't as slow as molasses.

And lastly, at least DLH can fight worth a ****.

Using the Diaz fight as an example.:rofl Lay off the pipe !

In the general scheme of things his performance against Diaz means jack ****. David Diaz at 135 is not ODLH at 147 or 150 :nut Its time that the Pac camp took a dose of reality.
