Think about all the money that could be made if they actually worked together to supply the true demand of the boxing fans. We don't like most of these **** fights and would be willing to pay in large numbers in order to see other fights BUT for some reason promoters don't wanna make the money...that's bad business. Can't wait till this period in boxing is over.

can't make a fair deal with one another so instead of maximizing profits from fights people WANT to pay to watch they just keep everything in house...lame.

The problem is greed. plain and simple.

Having dimwits like Pacquiao who have no balls when it comes to cutting long term relationships with snakes like Arum is part of the problem also. I guess Pac only cares about getting a decent paycheck at the end of the year and staying out of legal trouble.

It''s about greed and ego indeed, but it looks pretty obvious that much bigger and much more profitable events could have been put together if they actually collaborate.

There's always a number of nuthugging fans that will always pay for overpriced PPV even if their favorite boxer (Floyd/Pac/...) is fighting some John Doe, but recent events have shown that the other boxfans and regulars are getting fed up by it and just don't buy that crap anymore.

Just moving the whole scene to China and Russia will probably dry out soon enough too.

You think there would be enough time to make fights after they finished trying to rob each other?
