Look at the UFC, monthly events with awesome fights.

Boxing has too many organisations. Pacq vs Mayweather still hasn't happened. If they were MMA fighters they would have fought a long time ago.

Am I saying MMA is better than boxing? Hell no but it's organised so much better than boxing currently is. Boxing is one of the most bureacratic sports.

No. "boxing is dying" was around when Americans were winning too and it will be around when Americans start winning again. "Boxing is dying" has been around for at least 82 years. "Boxing is dying" is alive and well in the minds of stupid boxing writers and stupid boxing "fans".

    1. Boxing no longer has the "color line" segragating participants by race.

    2. Boxing no longer has the Iron Curtain segregating participants by geo-politics

    3. Boxing no longer has the mafia controlling everything.

    4. {professional} Boxing no longer has one promoter setting contests to first and foremost
for his own interests instead of for the promotion of the sport.

And it's worse now? Get a brain.

olympic boxing is garbage. in 2008 i watched the first couple rounds of most weight classes then just gave up, it's pointless when they have a winner picked out from the start, I'm already at the point this year where I'm like **** it not worth watching anymore.

The only thing that is killing boxing is promoters not making the best match ups and/or fighters not wanting to fight the best. Scrap all the **** belts and just have one undisputed champ in each division and they lose the belt if they dont fight mandatories. Problem solved.
