Just want to ask what the boxing fight in recent years wherein there is a rare case that a fight was robbed by both the referee and the judges. There was a crucial bad call from the ref. And the judges scored the fight against the rightful winner. Most of the robberies in boxing do not include the poor refereeing but in this fight there was robbery and also poor refereeing. Cant remember which fight is this
Emmanuel Augustus against Courtney Burton. Lost out on a legit knockdown on a body shot, lost a point for working his way out of a clinch, and received repeated warning from the referee for being...um...better. And then Augustus lost and ATG robbery. I was actually a the LC Walker arena when it went down since I'm from Grand Rapids and I was a fan of Burton I'd seen before and because I loved Augustus. Crazy, crazy ****.
