    Duran did blow up, 200lbs who knows, unlikely.
    Leonard's said that's why he wanted Duran quick.
    These facts surrounding the rematch might be embellished but it's hardly a rumour that Duran wasn't in peak condition, and that Leonard knew he wouldn't be.

    Nah, it's mostly a myth—one that Leonard played a part in spreading because he thinks it makes him seem clever. There's no evidence that Duran had a harder time making weight for that fight than any other fight...including the first Leonard fight.
