Pick two teams of fighters from respective eras and match them up.

Sorry I was away watching football and all sorts of other shite yesterday, didn't give this another look. Sounds like a good match up to me man.

So who would you be matching up against who? Could do it like a 'captain' of a team you pick and choose favourable match ups or something like that. I didn't really think this thread through properly

That's not era versus era, that's just a fantasy team. Let's not make this any gayer than it has to be. Pick a team of 8, from any weightclass from any one era (call an era a decade for simplicity) and then pick one of your team of 8 to captain. As captain make match ups as favourable as you can, and see how the era does. That's how I think the thread should be after a bit of thought.
