I hope this is the fight where "we" can see Lemieux go-rounds. There was a time when Rubio was a tough, sturdy and durable opponent...We'll see. I'm really excited about Co-feature (Stevenson vs Edwards). I haven't seen much of Stevenson, although I do remember him in the amateurs fighting for Canada. But Edwards is a decent fighter. He only had 6 Amatuer fights...but when you see him fight, you'll be impressed how technically sound he is. But this is a Southpaw vs Ortodox fight...so it could be either Boring or Fireworks, I am hoping for the latter. Also, there are several unbeaten Canadian Prospects on this card: Arash Usmanee, Tyler Asselstine and Kevin Lavellee. Decent card for FNF.

Unbeaten Prospect Marcus Johnson looks to stay unblemished vs Dyah Davis. Davis, son of former Olympic Gold Medalist Howard Davis Jr. was actually a talked about prospect about 18 months ago. But after a UD loss to Aaron Pryor Jr. and a draw with Francisco Sierra....Davis is trying to gain some respectability with this fight. Also on the Card Welterweight Prospect from my home-state (Ohio) Willie Nelson. And for those of you who have never seen Nelson...I am willing to bet that your first words when you see him is: DAYUM!!! If you thought Paul Williams was a tall Welter...Nelson is a LEGIT 6'3. He has his hands full with once beaten NYC Banger Vincent Arroyo..Should be a DAMN GOOD FIGHT. Unbeaten Prospects O'Conner vs Bracero battle on the first televised fight of the Triple header on Showtime.

Vargas looks to stay unbeaten facing veteran Vivian Harris. Harris tank is pretty much empty. So this might just be a chance for Vargas to put a decent name on his resume. But Vargas has holes/flaws...if Harris still has that right hand...WHO KNOWS? Unbeaten prospects Bastie Samir and Michael Finney still don't have opponents yet and hopefully Telefutura will show Hot Former NYC Golden Glove Star Eddie Gomez.

Undefeated Lightweight Prospect Omar Figueroa (10-0 8KO's) added to the Morales/Maidana undercard....most likely to the Non-televised portion of the card (available online). Still no opponent named as of yet.

 

Several different Boxing websites mentioned this fight. Apparently this Jason Pagara is really talented. Thanks for the update.
