    Unofficially around mid sept to mid july in the UK.

    Basically school holidays

    I believe boxing's "closed" season in the UK is when Fwank goes on his holidays...

    That's right. There's not even much in the way of untelevised local shows during this period, I guess the holidays must be very detrimental to the takings.

    There has always historically been a season in boxing and the break conincides with harvest time
