I need to get some good boxing shoes, but I don't have much money to spend. Any suggestions?

are you in the states? I asked the trainer I've been working with at my gym that very same question. If you have a Dick's Sporting Goods or an Academy Outdoors, Asics Wrestling shoes work just as well. They said they'd only be about 40ish bucks. I still gotta wait until my next paycheck to get a decent pair though.

I've been thinking about getting a pair of those. I like the way they look. Have you really had the same pair for 5 years?

I need a good pair as well I was thinking of getting the Machomai's on sale. Not exactly cheap but it seems like an opportunity for a good investment. Anyone own a pair?

Bro if you're over the age of 18 and haven't got $60 to spend on a pair of boxing kicks I think you need to re-evaluate what you're doing in life, and think of more productive uses for your time than ESB

    Hey "bro"
I'm 20 and broke in college working on a degree to help me make money (but mostly for my love of computers) and get out of debt while following two amazing sports. Boxing, and climbing.

Thank god climbers aren't assholes like you.

I'm also "in college working on a degree", and have two part-time jobs and make extra money on the side.

Thank God I've got that hard-working mentality, cos otherwise I could be broke like you

I was going to spring for the Machomais but I'm going to try the Nike lo pros first. They were on sale at Titleboxing and I haven't exactly heard anything terrible about them. I won't be able to try them out for a few more days since I'm still at sea for the time being.

Asics Matflex! If you got bucks? Split second!

Don't play yourself by sparring in them BEFORE you shadow box at a high speed in them. Get ready for some foot cramps! You don't realize how out of shape your feet are until you get moving on a ring in wrestling shoes! Ha!
