Boxing should really bring back 15 rounds

Damn, quite alot of deaths from this sport...

 

Should shorten it to 10 rounds if anything, that would encourage boxers to be more explosive and busy. More entertaining for fans. Who wants to see two guys who can't knock each other out wrestling in the 14th round?

 

Agree 12 round is perfect there was a reason it was changed and doubt it will ever increase again. There are other aspects to the sport that need sorting out first before anything is changed with the rounds if anything in the near future I think the amount of rounds will decrease.

I think 10 rounds for normal fight. 12 rounds for championship fights. 15 rounds for Mega events!

If Manny vs Floyd happened, that **** would need t be 15 rounds.

 

Yup getting rid of useless weight divisions such as the junior featherweight, junior lightweight, junior welterweight, and junior middleweight division. This is the 21st century, guys are bigger then they were 50 years ago. The weight limit for for all divisions needs to be extended. Welterweight needs to extend to 152lbs for example.

 

I fully support the idea of bringing back 15 rounds. WBC was the first organization that brought 12 rounds into boxing. Bull****!

 

12 or 15 doesn't matter much to me since in most fights the winner is usually determined within 10-12 rounds anyway......sometimes less then that. I really don't see the benefit of them fighting 15 rounds, hell most of the fighters have several rounds of sparring that never get factored in, in preparation for a fight.

 

So what if they are just surviving to the end of the 13th? You only train for the distance you are meant to go...
