Thoughts on the year so far? Brutal, IMO.

No Porter/Thurman (was looking forward to that!)

    Theophane/Broner is a complete joke

    Wade/GGG (ditto)

Bradley/Manny 3 (when will Arum stop these rematches?)

    Canelo/Khan (laughable fight)

    Thoughts so far then?

I feel the same way. It seems that the first part of this year is like round one of a fight. Everyone is just feeling each other out and seeing what each other will do. I'm curious to see how the Ward fight plays out but, other than that, I'm like 'meh'

I'm not as critical. The way I look at it is.

    - Algieri/Spence
A good exciting fight to see where Spence is. Super thrilled about it
    - Porter/Thurman
Pushed back, but it'll happen. So still excited
    - GGG/Wade
I can't complain about a big drama show. His fights are always exciting.
    - Canelo/Khan
Same. It's a mismatch, but it'll be a very exciting mismatch. It's not a mismatch where you'll see someone get outboxed to a decision. Someone will get blown out of the water - probably- and I mean I aint complaining. It'll be fun while it lasts.
    - Pacquiao/Bradley
Looking forward to this the most even though I was the most critical of it when announced. But now thinking about it, I'm really interested to see how Manny looks after his injury and shoulder. I want to get a gauge of where he's at. Plus, Bradley is a top MW. He's 2nd behind Manny, imo. I think that this may be the most exciting fight of the three. Both guys know each other well. Bradley was aggressive against Rios, so it should be fun.
    - Wilder/Povetkin
    Potentially happening in Russia.
    - Ward/Barrera
Finally get to see Ward fight at 175 and against a live opponent.
    - Then were looking at the possibilities of GGG/Canelo, Ward/Kovalev, Chocolatito/Estrada. And maybe Inoue to make his debut in America?

2016 is looking good to me, but maybe my expectations aren't as high.

"Blah" would best describe my mood about boxing so far into the year.

Thurman/Porter being postponed was a let down.
Looking forward to Povetkin/Wilder signing a contract to fight. Really hoping that happens.
Spence/Algieri is a good bout, looking forward to seeing how Spence looks.
Bradley/Pac III - Blah. Reminds me of the sitcom reruns.
    Canelo/Khan - Joke.
GGG/Wade - What can GGG do? Canelo won't fight him at 160.
Ward/Barrera - Just curious to see how Ward looks. He's been very inactive.

Not that inspiring of a year so far. Have a handful of matches I'm really looking forward to. I am pleased however that it appears the heavyweight division is heating up.

Ward vs barrera is a phucking great fight, Thurman ko'ing porter or getting ko'd will be great.

Ggg and Kovalev destroying a couple more victims
Canelo v khan is going to shock this board something crazy. That's going to be can't miss.

Spense showing how great he's going to prove to be.. he's already by far the best ww and jmw on the planet and we don't have anyone that could compete with him so forget anyone beating him for a good many more years.

He would have to break his ankle, leg or something majorly to lose.

Many stars are going to have breakout years. Joshua becoming a champ, Wilder ridding us of povetkin, fury and or Wlad getting lit up with whoever they fight after.

We have joshua v haye coming soon, that's a huge fight. Possibly Wilder v ortiz, massive fight.

What is wrong with the fans ??? So we don't have the "big names" we've been used to seeing but the talent dwarfs what it's been. If people (fans) can't grasp the immense talent pool, wtf is wrong with the average fan, talent and huge fights everywhere
