Everyone seems to be leaving. First Rob Tebbutt, although first there was a long period of silence with him offline. Now Andi Purewal and Ryan Elliot. For me they were the best group of interviewer for the Boxing YouTube channels. Wonder what has gone wrong??
It's a weird one. As Tebbutt owned it, dud he not ? But was he not pushed out somehow? Then why would those left now go, weird.
He got fed up working with MJP at Behind the Gloves, left and set up his own. So not sure when he sold out as the owner

Ah yeah I remember their wee Twitter spat. Two sides to every story but let's face it MJP is probably a nightmare
My understanding was it was another guy that that owned it that saw the rise of IFL and thought there was money to be made. I believe tebbut was a director but a minor one at most perhaps. seems that something has changed in the set up and they are now leaving due to not liking the changes. My guess is tebbut must have some kind of no compete clause as he’s been very quiet. You would of thought it would be simple for him and andi to set up their own outlet given their links
Other than the big channels is there much money to be made? A lot of costs with travel etc would add up. It's interesting IFl don't have US reporters but fly UK guys over. A lot of huge broadcasting companies don't do that!
I think others saw the success of IFL and thought they could replicate it. I know that in the past Eddie paid for Kugan’s travel abroad and accommodation, I don’t know if that’s still the case. No doubt IFL are making good money, but others getting a couple of thousand views on YouTube won’t be.
Surprised two medium sized outlets have not became one (one that's based in UK and one in America) for that exact reason.

why are so many uk boxing youtube channel interviewers South Asian these days? Kugan Cassius, Umar Ahmed, Andi Purewal, Dev Sahni, The guy who runs Boxing King Media, etc etc etc
