Just a general question When I stand to square up, I find I naturally stand in a southpaw stance even though I am right handed, I have to fight with my body's(instinct) to shape an Orthodox stance. Is that normal,odd...etc...
thats not odd ,a lot of fighters(de la hoya, cotto) are leftys and fight orthodox, you just need to find the most comfortable position that best suits you.
It's great when I read things like this on this forum because most of the time people posts responses like thay are pro trainers but really have no clue, my man elindiomonzon is correct, one should find and use a stance that is " This content is protected " most would say you got to do this and you got to do that, but in reality not every one walk with the same stride, even most trainers try to make a fighter do what they think is right without considering the " This content is protected "
You its perfectly normal mate - im left handed all in all things, but am orthodox as a boxer. Its not super common.. but still normal.
