"It’s now (about) moving up (a level),' Eubank Snr said. "Junior’s now looking to actually take on the best fighter in the world in Gennady Golovkin and that fight will happen around September."

Jr is young and strong. I think he has a chance to beat Golovkin because I suspect GGG is on decline.

Don't think he has any great chance, although if he inherited Snrs chin, he could take GGG into the late rounds

Eubank Jr is a brave man , not like Saunders, Canelo, Jacobs and Lara.

Brave enough to fight in the Olympics.

Kidding aside, guy is a buzzsaw puncher. A real entertainer.

Clearly by the fact that he's been rocked by Saunders, O'Sullivan and Blackwell.....he hasn't.

Eubank is a brave man........talk....talk.....more talk. Number 1 to fight Jacobs and ran back to domestic level......now domestic level again in his next fight. Rejected bjs rematch......so brave.

Eubanks is brave prospect, sure. He still needs more world level experience.

How is he viewed in Europe?

What world ranked fighter has Eubank beat? He's a joke. Yes, he's brave but the truth is even getting the stuffing knocked out of ihm by GGG would be the best thing on his thin track record.

In the next sentence you would probably say BJS is world class.

Wakey, Wakey, Jr could have won that fight as it stands a SD and he would have won that fight easily if he fought hard from the early rounds instead of show boating.

They took the BJS fight one year earlier than they should and they are taking another fight they shouldn't. His career is being mismanaged. Still a good fight nevertheless.

Eubank Jr said he wanted Saunders again, was offered the rematch and went silent, keeps repeating he wants a rematch but he didn't take it.

Eubank Jr said he wanted to be a world champion, wanted a shot at a world title, wanted to fight Jacobs, got in to a mandatory position and said no and went and fought for the British title.

Eubank Jr has said he wants DeGale.

Eubank Jr says he wants Golovkin but then applies to fight at the Olympics against amateurs.

Jr and Sr say a lot of things but then have a change of heart, just because he says he wants a Golovkin fight does not mean if it is genuinely offered he will actually take it.

I was a huge fan of Sr but he isn't on that level, yet, he might end up being but so far it's hard to be overly impressed.

Walking away from a Saunders rematch and a world title fight with Jacobs hasn't done him any favours and applying for a place in Rio 2016 this week is just embarrassing for a young man who is saying he wants Golovkin now, right now.

Boxing skills, well he throws a nice variety of shots, looks to have very good stamina, decent chin and decent power but he isn't what I'd call a big puncher and to be fair I'm starting to see some little improvements but his footwork is average at best and his defence looks non existent a lot of the time.

If he fought Golovkin now I think it would ruin him, he would have holes punched in him, you can't let somebody who punches like Golovkin have that much target.

Jr has good head movement and isn't an easy target when he's being defensively minded. Watch him sparring the big bangers like Froch, he hasn't fought anyone that he has respecteds power yet.

He even said prefight vs Spike (who is the biggest puncher he has fought along with Chudinov) that he was going to walk through his punches and he did. This is lost on some people who think he has bad d, he said he was going to get hit by Spike and dared him to throw his best.

True. Not gonna knock anyone who is taking on the toughest opposition. Chris is a bit of a d☆ck but he has a mean streak that I am intrigued with. He's a good fighter from what I have seen thus far, but his level of opposition isn't really stellar either. He is making a little noise and calling out the boogie man puts him in the hot seat. The pressure is something young talented fighters can struggle with. GGG has limited options. Lara is still begging for a crack at GGG, but I doubt that fight materializes. Beating a young, undefeated fighter with a name like "Eubanks" makes much more sense.
