I know there is not a shortcut ti success in boxing, but is there any good supplements that are good to help you perform at a fast pace for amatuer boxers, just curious im not really big on supplements, just curious because over the last 4 years ive learned amatuer boxing is very fast paced, for the 4 rounds u perform, and was wondering is there any good supplements to help with this.
Check out this website: http://www.rossboxing.com/thegym/supplements1.html Some great products there. Now I'm thinking about caffeine pills might not be such a good choice They help but not for everyday use because they will lead to dependence (and other supplements that give you more energy) A good diet and hard work is all you need. And don't forget to have at least 8 hours of sleep for recovery.
They're supposedly bad for you though (caffeine pills), so I would stick to natural carbs. Not sure though, beside protein and glutamine Im not really a supplement guy.
There are no boxing specific supplements. Things that may be useful, depending on your diet, are: - Whey protein. You don't need the amount prescribed by its manufacturer though, a third to half would be more than enough. - Flaxseed oil / fish oil. Aids in recovery and keeps the joints supple. - Multi-vitamin/mineral. - Glucosamine/chondoitrine, also for joints. What you really need though, is a healthy diet.
the"protein slam" in the CNP range of products is sposed 2 b good 2 av b4 training, gives u a boost. then if u train at fast pace, u shud b able 2 fight at a fast pace.
If you guys are looking for a legit product try Fight Factor by Nutrabolics...contains beta-alanine to ward off mental and physical fatigue.
a good diet is all you need ffs, i take half a protein shake 25 grams of protein after a weights session (3 times a week) whenever i do a weights session in the month leading up to a fight i might start taking vitamin tablets, although io make sure i get my vitamins and minerals through my diet first
All Natural Foods, Whey Protein, Flaxseed Oil, a Multivitamin, and Hard-Work will get you to where you want to be. Everything else is up for debate.
