Interestingly enough, the Heavyweights were the only division with less than 30 boxers listed. (Which works out as I had planned to show the Top 30 point tallies for each weight class, meaning this was the only division that missed that mark).

All issues have been resolved. So I just have 1 list left to tabulate. Realistically, hoping to get Flyweights revealed on Monday, and hopefully one every 2 or 3 days thereafter.

    DATA ENTERED
    - Flyweight
    - Bantamweight
    - Featherweight
    - Lightweight
    - Welterweight
    - Middleweight
    - Light Heavyweight
    - Heavyweight

I personally find this stuff incredibly fascinating. I gave a lot of thought into the scoring system, and I had/have great faith in the massive allotment of collective knowledge here in the CLASSIC section. I think this will provide respectable final tallies across the board. Some interesting patterns emerge, where certain fighters might be on a lot of lists, but usually towards the bottom. And then you have guys who are on less than half of the lists, but those who do list them usually hold them in higher regard.

While I was mildly tempted to take a peak at the sorted middleweight spreadsheet, I'm going to hold off and do things sequentially so the reveals are "fresh to me" when I break each division down.

At the end (or before), will you publish the scoring system?

3 minor issues on the All Time list, but everything is otherwise logged. I still need to dissect the numbers in terms of gathering some "stats" regarding the data-sets (which will take time). But otherwise hoping to release the Flyweights early Tues or Wed morning at the latest, and once I get that one done - the rest should flow every few days (I hope).

Just wanting to keep everyone updated on my progress, I am happy to say all of the templates have been created, the artwork is entirely finished, and I am on schedule to have the Flyweights revealed within 48-72 hours. Now that the templates are finished and the data is entered, everything should go more quickly. (I do still have 2 minor issues with the All Time list, but that reveal is still a ways off).

In the meantime, I'm so fired-up about this project that I'm likely going to open the new survey within the hour (give or take). The deadline for that one will tentatively be extended much further out than this one - and there is a good chance I may push it back further, still. But hoping this one will have people equally interested to participate.

OK. My intro was far more long-winded than I'd imagined, but I wanted to at least go on record explaining the Survey in the beginning.

Also, just to throw this out there, in the event I am ever being critical of a final tally - this is NOT intended as me calling out or shaming people who picked Boxer X, etc. I am just kind of providing honest feedback on some of the things I'm seeing. I don't ever mean for anyone to mistake my tone. I am grateful to all who participated, and viewing these results with some quick observations.

Awesome. Agreed re Lopez not being top 10 (or anywhere at flyweight, for that matter), and I agree it's a pretty good list considering how many different opinions went into it.

    I also liked that
