Earlier, Nueva Ecija Representative Eduardo Joson filed House Bill (HB) 3743, which may prevent Pacquiao fighting inside the ring here in the Philippines if it becomes a law banning "violent sports," like boxing. Joson said boxing is a dangerous sport whose basic intent is to inflict physical injury on the opponent. http://www.sunstar.com.ph/static/man/20 ... ports.html
Eduardo Joson needs to ban Cigarettes and Alcohol before he bans boxing if he is so concerned with peoples health.
There's ****wit's[excuse my language] like that all around the world trying to ban boxing, it won't happen.
Does this make any sense? The phillipines has Pac who is a NATIONAL HERO and P4P Elite fighter who is involved in politics and pulls philipino's en masse and they want to ban boxing?? Sounds like Pac's made a political enemy or 2 ****ING NONSENSE:rofl
they need to impeach Nueva Ecija Representative Eduardo Joson!! lol or people of Nueva Ecija please don't vote E.Joson again come next election.
AMAZING!! This is exacly where the people's taxes go; Suffering from those lame BILLS offered by their ******ed congressman :rofl
what would manny be doing if he weren't allowed to box... Its violent? No sh*t and so is cockfighting...
I can't see boxing is anymore dangerous than martial arts(quite the opposite), which anyone and his dog is doing in the Phillapines
what martial art? we don't like fighting here. but we love watching boxing. and brawls in basketball courts too:yep
with all the glory pacquiao is getting there..I am 100% sure that would not happen at all. I believe their president is even involved in boxing matters and so as many of their officials, plus the less crime during pacquiao's fights. A bill is just a bill unless signed by (i don't know the number of congressmen) congressmen and then it would be pass up to the senate, then the office of the president. Thats how it works
