    That is the trend now.

I still ask, what if both fighers refuse to throw punches and just run around the ring? How do you determine a winner? Does Don King do it?

How the hell are we ever going to see a Flyweight vs a Heavyweight?

You name a fight from 100 hundred years ago to prove that a trend is continuing?

    Why that almost illegible font?

To beat a champ you have to take a belt away. Does this mean that when a round is close and you think fighter A just nodded it out you just give it to the champ instead because the challenger isn't "taking it away." It's completely inapplicable and oversimplified logic usually just spouted off by idiots with no real substantial point to back or verify this position.

    You're a douche-bag.

The only trend I see is you remaining as an idiotic, biased tool.

Great post. There is no such thing as having take the title. YOu either win the round or you dont. That simple.

Yes, relinquish the belt to fight Vitali ASAP. It's obvious that you just get amused by hearing yourself.

Yes, and that's the only way it can be. Unless you want to completely change the structure for scoring. But most people aren't really saying things like that. They just liked to use cliche' boxing mottos like "He lost because he didn't take it from the champion." If the champion wins in a close fight that's one thing, but if the consensus is he didn't but some feel the challenger didn't do enough it's completely void. We have the round by round scoring for a reason.

I actually didn't see it but from what I know it appears Brown won pretty handedly on the cards. Did he just run? What were the compo-box numbers?

By the way, why should there a reward for a man not hitting the other man in the face with his gloves if the other man can while moving in the ring. It's not running, unless it's jumping out of the ring or literally turning around from the fighter and running away Vitali Klitiscko style. That shits actually arguably illegal. Yes, you have a case only if a fighter is moving and throwing less than 3 punches a round. Otherwise, get yourself familiar with boxing. Watch some Locche and Pep or something if you think this is something new or something wrong. It's not ball-room brawling.

no such thing as running. you must be a slow, plodding bum who is jealous of haye's athleticism and reflexes.

I saw the fight live. Jim Watt was for Haye, but he said that Haye could not win by running without throwing punches. Haye ran like Hell and was extremely boring. Haye calls Klitschkos boring? Haye ran from both Vitali and Vlad. Haye can run, but he can't hide.

Vitali wants to knock Haye out ASAP, but Haye will never fight him.

If Haye won that fight then Holyfied should have won because Holyfield did much better than Haye. Ruiz did much better than Haye.

Chagaev actuall beat Valouev, was then stopped by Vlad. Vlad won the WBA title in the ring, not on paper like Don King's WBA. If Haye had not signed himself to Don King he would never have won on the cards.

Jim Watt was a world champion, he is a Brit.

So? And that proves Valuev won?

So this is truly just a disguised Valuev won and I'm still crying about it thread?
