Peep RJJ boxing to the beats. Do you think this is good practice or do you think it's detrimental to fighter? Or do you think it doesn't matter? Please explain. Thanks in advance.

I think it doesnt matter, it looks like they are just warming up and having a bit of fun while they train.

I've see Roy doing this thoughout his whole training session (hbo 24/7 RJJ/Calzaghe), I don't think it's just for a warmup. He also teaches the boxers training with him to do the same. Look at the 2:00 mark in the video, the young guys are just straight dancing (hands at their waist). Personally, I think this can't be good for a young boxer's technique.

Those are open workouts I think. That's definitely not how he trains all the time. But it is definitely fun and a great way to warm up and get in your rhythm. I recommend Rage Against the Machine :)

Ive tried it and its fun but you end up thinking like a dancer and not a fighter so I think itd be fine on days when your not actually training but want to work on form, footwork and head movement but you dont want to actually think and dont want anything intense but thats it.
