Moli Kaufusi is promoting a Pro-Am Fight Night on Wednesday night (3rd August, 2011) at the Portuguese Community Club of Sydney in Marrickville.
The Main Event on the evening is for the vacant IBF Pan Pacific Junior-Middleweight title between the WBC Youth World Champion from Australia, Tommy Browne (26-6-1) and the champion prospect of Yao Yi Ma (7-1-0) who was born in Taiwan but resides in Sydney. Past winners of this belt include Nader Hamdan and Daniel Geale who is now an IBF World Champion. Tommy Browne hasn’t fought in the boxing ring since a loss to Lenny Zappavigna in 2008 which could prove the difference against the rising star.
The co-main event is a Heavyweight clash for the WBF Asia-Pacific Title. Michael Pechey (5-3-0) of Queensland will be going into battle with Auckland Auimatagi (4-10-1) who was born in New Zealand but resides in Sydney, Australia. The pair will go toe-to-toe over 10 rounds for the Asia-Pacific Title.
The undercard on the night is packed with amateur fights. It is featured by the 81kg NSW Amateur Title fight between David Temelkov (Wollongong PCYC) and Dillon Johnson (Mundines Gym). The rest of the undercard features: Paul Evans, Shannon Knight, Scott Pigett, Jeong Jin Park, Alise Pratt, Tim Hannan, Lawrence Glover and amateur star Chad Hoskins.
Doors open at 6:30pm on the night with the first fight starting at 7:30pm. General admission tickets are $50 and corporate seats are also available. To purchase tickets please call 0405 987 985.

Sorry I could not find much about Aucklands fight on Eastside boxing so I put this up at the last minute.
Auckland won the fight, with a bad cut from a headbutt or an elbow.I really enjoyed this fight. It was a split decsion,There was some crazy scoring of the fight by the judges or one of the judges.
