I agree I don't like using the term "right hook" for a looped/overhand right, it's not a hook, unless thrown to the body, southpaws throw actual right hooks. It's just the term he used.

A swept right hand, looped around a high guard.

Starting from a narrower position than a right hook would.

(I know you already knew that.)

This guy knows his boxing. But he kisses Floyd's ass a little too much. I expected Floyd to win and I wasn't surprised by anything he did during the fight. But all the bull**** about how Floyd choose to stand in front of Cotto to please the fans is just stupid. And when he says Floyd fought a bigger Cotto I almost throw up. Cotto hasn't look good at 154lbs at all. Miguel chooses to fight at 154lbs but I honestly don't think he belongs there. I don't buy that **** of 147lbs being too difficult for him. 140? ok. But not 147lbs. He even says Floyd's came to the ring at 147lbs because he was sick. BULL****!! May be he was 147 but not sick.

Floyd himself said after the fight, in his own documentary that Cotto made him think of retirement, that Cotto was one tough cookie (He used a choice word) but no way Floyd choose to get hit all over to impress anyone

It was a great fight and props to Mayweather for taking it but 154 is no easy task and Floyd could have picked a catch weight and didn't. But to say that he choose to fight this style.. he wasn't. Floyd just cannot do what he once did but he is doing something else which is amazing and entertaining. Both styles are great.

Nothing new. At least not in the first 20 minute video.
It's like he's reading us a book we've already read. Only put into a video.
