I should have added again on the end of that one, you two were going at it fine and i didnt want to get in the mix. Bruas brought up some great points, i am intrested to know more about the Beyer weights.

One other thing i wanted to point out is Danny made no excuses and said the best man won, it was only after trying to fuel the fire for a rematch that he made the claim of being weight drained.

Its similar to what RJJ has done imo, he said the best man won, he put Dannys hand up in the air but then afterwards he got bitter and decided to lodge a complaint. It may have some validility but one must question if this was a concern why was he behaving this way after the fight instead of being pissed off etc. In Dannys aspect, why didnt he come out the next day crying weight drain? why wait until he comes out of retirement to make the claim?

Would love to hear Johhny Drama's views on this issue - I notice he's logged on and should notice this being the post at the top of the tree for now.

    All yours Johhny.....

No, but Green's rematch with Beyer was only 2 fights after he cooked himself against Sullivan, and his weights were all over the place (168.75 vs Sullivan, 173.75 vs Gonzalez, 166 vs Beyer 2, 171 vs Crawford, 171 vs Garcia, 167.25 vs Mundine).

I personally think he was still recovering from the damage caused by the dehydration and being all over the place with his weights, came in lower than intended for the Beyer rematch.

I also think he grew out of SMW at or around the time of the first Beyer fight and was struggling to make weight for the Lucas, Sullivan, Beyer rematch and Mundine fights.

intresting, never looked at it that way, your prob right brua but imo Dannys got no one but himself to blame or perhaps Jeffery lol.. you shouldnt fight if your weak from making weight, the Sulivan fight should have been his wake up call.

    Whos Johhny Drama?

A serious, but extremely simple question for you Ty - how many loggin names have you had at ESB?

...and before you ask me, I've only ever had the one.

Agreed, he has only himself to blame for continuing to fight at SMW if making weight was troubling him. I guess he thought he could still pull a rabbit out of the hat at that point but he came up short.

What I'm saying is that I think Green belongs at LHW and would beat Mundine in a rematch at that weight.

he reportedly had about 2.4 million reasons plus whatever percentage of PPV money to go ahead with the fight if the
figures thrown around at the time are right.

Couldhavebeen u know ive only got one account here, i post too much as it is to have multiple alias, id never be able to keep up lol i did have an old account here yrs and yrs ago but im sure your not refering to that one as i never posted here until the spidot incident and someone dragged my name into it so i signed up and have been here since. Why do u ask ?

Brua i agree he belongs at LHW, i think it would be an intresting fight at LHW but in saying that Danny would have to engage and not do what he did with BJ flores, Mundine would still outbox him at LHW, Danny would need to rough him up and turn it into a war.

So u think he come in light for Beyer because his weight was all over the place? I am wondering if Beyers people put weight restrictions in the contract now we know these exist lol, just makes no sence why he would come in that light.

I better get off this topic now before couldhavebeen thinks im someone else lol

So you are sticking with the following then Ty:

1/ You only have one current ESB poster name.
2/ 'Who's Johnny Drama?' = you claim not to know who Johnny Drama is.

Ive never seen a Johnny Drama posting around here. Johnny Boy would be the closest, is that who you are refering to? And ive answerd your questions its only fair you respond to mine and not answer back with more questions of your own.

Mundine ain't going to the states. He's too cosy in Australia making millions fighting bums.

It's the same smokescreen he's been using for years now to keep fans interested in his mismatches, with the promise of a big fight on the horizon.

First it was Calzaghe, Sturm, Winky he was chasing..then Jermain Taylor, Pavlik, Hopkins..now it's Cotto, Margarito, Pac and Floyd.

If he was serious about this he would have taken the Golovkin fight instead of blatantly ducking him to fight another south american cabbie.

Did that look like the actions of a man wanting to prove himself against the best and build up his reputation? He actually admitted he was deliberately ducking Golovkin, and didn't even care that he looked and sounded like a *****.
