I don't even know if this is the case though. Look at Tim Bradley for example. The guy is a fast twitch muscle machine, yet he's not a big puncher.
I suspect you don't know alot of things. As I have been saying there are alot of factors in punching power and fast twitch fibres are just one small piece of the puzzle.
No. That's by your logic. You said he was born with devastating punching power not me. I said he's born with the potential to develop punching power, as does everyone, but it has to be developed over years of training.
I don't think you understand what I was saying, so i'll clarify. Punchers are born with that ability. Are they going to step into a ring and become champ overnight? No, they have to train to become proficient boxers. However, if you took 10 guys who all have the same experience, trained them all for 5-6 years, I GUARANTEE some guys will hit harder than other...why? Genetics, it's just the way they were born. Paul Malignaggi, or Chris Byrd will NEVER hit hard no matter what they do, their genetics limit them. When people like Abraham or Tyson, have it naturally (yes it can be improved, but like I said before some people have the power, some don't)
I'm not talking about big punchers, I'm talking about examples where you might favor fat over type 2a muscle due to the amount of energy it takes to maintain extra type 2a muscle, and the fact that it will exhaust you more quickly having it in abundance, than having a good mix of muscle types to recruit.
