Boxing trivia: who is this boxer?

    My wife bought me a couple of boxing books for my birthday, including one called 'Boxing On This Day: History, Facts & Figures From Every Day of the Year'.

    Now, this is just the kind of trivia book I like but on page 177 there is the following photo:

    It's labelled as Jack Johnson, World Heavyweight Champion 1908-1915 but this is definitely not Jack Johnson.

    However, I don't know who it actually is.

    Any ideas?

    I think that is Jack Johnson.

    I think its Jack but if it is not this thread has got me more interested than any other subject on here

    There is something special about a fighter when you cant use the internet :):)

    I used to have a shirt with that picture on it and I told people it was Jack Johnson.

    The image is still circulating around the internet as one of the most popular images of "Jack."
