Actually it was Oscar Bonavena pegged for Tokyo, but I don't know if contracts were formally signed.

True or False: Joe Bugner once shot a man in Reno just to watch him die.

You'll have to ask Johnny Cash that question  Floyd Mayweather befriended Michael Jackson a few years ago,and Floyd was consdidering sharing an oxygen tent with Michael at night,in order to keep his body young while training for fights ??

Stevie, you are quite correct. Aside from it being a line from a Johnny Cash song one must also remember that Joe was never known for fits of aggression. LOL! I will say your question is False because Mayweather doesn't train for fights because he doesn't fight.

T or F: Bob Foster refused a physical, cancelling his world title fight with Victor Galindez.

I know that fight was cancelled for some reason,so I'll go for TRUE. The actor Burgess Meredith was a fighter in his youth, and sparred with Jack Dempsey.

I can quite believe this,as they hung out together by all accounts. And Graziano could hit pretty hard. Malcolm X used to box ?

I will say false, only because he would have been fairly young.

Actor James Caan had 4 fights at the Blue Horizon in the mid 60s, fighting under the pseudonym, "Billy Caan"

Sorry, I forgot to elaborate on this one. It is true. The Galindez-Foster title fight was to be fought on March 28, 1977 in South Africa, but was cancelled when Foster refused his pre-fight medical exam. Pretty weird, the chance for a title, a guaranteed sum of $70,000 and he refuses a physical that he has taken umpteen times before. What was Bob not telling us???

Not that I'm aware of. LaMotta had always prided himself as to have never went down. until very late in his career. Perhaps you are confusing Denzel Washingtons protrayel of Rubin Carter & Malcolm X. Hehehe! just kidding!

I'd say TRUE. Jersey Joe Walcott was once Jack Johnson's sparring partner.
