Boxing v Football - Punishments - Suarez Bite

Footballers play every week, boxers fight 2/3 times a year. Worth considering.

 

Hard to compare cos of how often boxers fights and footballers play. Tyson would box say 3/4times in 15months. that is atleast 50games if you gace suarez 15month.

 

same as above post cant really compare, 3 match ban i reckon for violent conduct,defoe did same thing and nothing come of it,so cant deal with suarez worse but the fa is a joke

 

he will get atleast 7. the dutch case has set a precedent.

 

7 games minimum. I actually reckon 10.

It will follow into next season. He will miss the first chunk of games. We will be in relegation.

Soooo that's why David Brent shipped Andy Carroll out, Suarez was eying himself up some pony.

As a Liverpool supporter, I just don't get why he did it, its pathetic, laughable, careless, thoughtless. He already gets a bad wrap, probably the worst in football at the moment, thats just gonna get worse now. Only himself to blame. If you support Liverpool you love Luis Suarez, if you support anybody else, you will more than likely hate him.

I understand why.

Luis Suarez is a great player, but he is counterproductive, and things like this are detrimental to the team, the team needs him, but he is a liability, and if I was the FA, I'd ban him for an entire season to make him realize his ways.

A fine does nothing, taking away his love is the only thing you can do, but it has to be lengthy, and not just a 5 games thing.

Similar ban to Tyson if you ask me. Then he will turn on the club, and Liverpool will get rid and the rest of football will all be cheering and rubbing their hands. Sir Alex Ferguson - Mission accomplished.

 

fa have charged him with violent conduct. 3 match ban is insufficient. Panel on Wednesday will decide punishment.

 

defoe should of,but didnt,so cant make an example of suarez albeit cos he done things before,as for suarez worse than defoes,a bite is a bite,if you take a chunk or scratch the skin

infact yeah it got plenty to do with it, terry got what a 4 game ban? for his racism case,suarez got more for less, easy target

They should put him in the middle of Stanley Park and give Everton fans advance warning of the time?

 

I think a 10 game ban should do Suarez nicely.
