With the retirement of the great Floyd "Money" Mayweather boxing fans are beginning to feel the vacuum left behind in his wake. Truly the sport is missing and without a heir apparent to pick up the slack to become the next big boxing superstar.

Realizing the absence of greatness in the sport, the networks have begun an aggressive campaign to throw money at solving the problem, offering Mayweather Google level paychecks as enticement to get him to give up retirement and bring some much needed excitement back to the sport.

Mayweather has so far been unresponsive to the crazy numbers networks have been baiting him with.

What boxing needs is for Mayweather to come back into the ring shot and old. And then have GGG, Thurman or Brook decapitate him and then we have a new cash cow.

Floyd should enjoy his money, take care of his health, and spend time with his family. It's over. He should enjoy the rest of what life has to offer outside of the ring.

He isnt really retired and everybody knows it, not until he hits 50-0. So they all want that fight.

When he does retire though I will turn my full attention of hatred towards Alverez.

He keeps trying to get out, but they keep using BILLIONS to pull him back in.

By the time he accepts, the public will be so talent starved, Pac-May ll may be even bigger than the 1st.
    Ain't that a blip! :yep

A cancer yet there are many threads still talking about a retired fighter. A cancer yet every fighter in the sport today would fight him over any other fighter if he came back. A cancer yet he would still generate the most media interest if he came back.:hi::deal
