I still have love for MMA. There is a lot of skill there. I have done BJJ. It reminds me of the same things people say about a pure boxer working. "He is running." versus "They are humping." There is a lot of subtle strategic ish going on there. I do wish they would stop some of that pinning guys to the cage ish. Pride was the joint! Wanderlei Silva was the Brazilian Mike Tyson!

Good video but we have to consider that with MMA it is much easiar to get into than proffesional boxing.. I dont think Boxing fans feel threatened but maybe more annoyed that alot of Mma fans are denouncing boxing as dead.. Well PPv numbers dont lie

 

I say don't hate, appreciate. Nobody here likes it when MMA fans say stupid things about boxing. It doesn't make it justifiable to do the same back. We should get fans of either to appreciate the art of both sports and what can be learned for combat from either.

Like someone said before, saying that two guys rolling around is 'gay' is just like an MMA fan saying that a boxer using movement is 'running'. Until you appreciate the subtlety of what's going on then you can see the purpose. The fight wouldn't last very long if one guy didn't know very much rules aside.

Also, just because you post on a boxing site doesn't mean you have to be biased and hate something else because it is different. Boxing is and will always be my favorite sport and ultimate love. Nothing can ever replace it. But I have always like combat and fighting styles of all kinds. MMA has it's unique nuances just like boxing does.

In a perfect world, they could coexist peacefully, but those mother****ers especially Dana White **** on boxing all the time, they declared war on the Rot Weiler when they are just a miniature pincher. :yep

I think more Boxing Fans should war against MMA, after all we are attracted to combat.
