    Good pick-up FH.

    Mundine was one of my early favourites, and just won title after title.

    (the win against Bibron was one of five Aussie titles he held at various weights from middle to heavy, plus Comm titles at middle & light heavy etc).

    CHB.... Great thread mate. Something to add to without stupid arguements.

    Feb 26th 1960. Aussie M/W Champ and future HOF'er Clive Stewart KO'd former Olympic rep Peter Read in 12 rounds in Melb. Peter Read has the displeasure of tackling the great Cuban Jose Torres in the Melbourne '56 games. 9 months later, Read politely returned the favour to Stewart, Ko'ing him in the 11th and taking the Oz M/W Crown.

    Watched Haglar vs Duran last night mate, I think that fight made a fkn great impression also, even though Marvin landed method basics in combo's as an orthodox fighter when switching late in the bout. Hitting Duran for the most part was still the work of a confident man when up against the counters of Roberto. Fkn freakish fighter.

    I cant answer that... none of my record books date past 1937.

    Joe louis had just won the H/W Crown... I dont think he'll go far.
