    Marquez won Vazquez' WBC super bantamweight title when Vazquez couldn't continue after round 7.

    Vázquez would knock out Marquez in the sixth round of their second fight which was awarded Fight of the Year and Round of the Year (Round 3) for 2007 by The Ring.

    Vazquez won the 3rd bout in 2008 by SD, after a brilliant 12th round that saw Vázquez knock Márquez into the ropes, which prevented Marquez from hitting the canvas, resulting in a knockdown in the closing seconds of the fight. Ring Magazine's Fight of the Year for 2008.

    Back to the 6th for uno momento.

    6th March 1989 Puerto Rican Hector Camacho won the vacant WBO LW title against Ray Mancini in Nevada USA over 12 rounds SD.

    The amazing Camacho has had a 30 year pro career. His amateur record stands at 96-4. His pro record currently stands at 79-5-3.

    On 26th March Camacho is to fight a 12 rd MW bout in Denmark.

    Is hector comacho a hall of famer? was he a great fighter?I don't know much about his achievements..except that he has a long career and that he fought ray leonard.How high is he ranked amongst the greats?

    Ranser , I think you have to be retired a full 5 years to be considered for the hall and Hector ain't managed to remain that inactive for that period of time as yet . :good

    47 year old Hector Comacho is fighting Danish boxer Allan Vester on 26/3/10 for the WPBF MW title.

    Interesting to note that " trainer of the year " Freddie Roach fought Camacho on 18/12/85 losing by UD over 10rds. Roach also fought Greg Haugen and Bobby Chacon on his way to a 39-13-0 career record. Roach's amateur record stands at 141-9-0.

    Boxing no doubt contributed to Roach's Parkinsons condition.
