Birthdate of Jack Johnson the 1st black to hold the 'mainstream' World heavyweight boxing title.
Johnson won the title from Tommy Burns at Rushcutters Bay Stadium (NSW) on 26th December 1908 (ironically on Boxing Day, which though it sounds like it should, has nothing to do with the sport of boxing).

Went to the Melbourne show last saturday - 2 x $100 well spent - brilliant!

To think James Taylor is 62 and Carole King 68 and they can put on a show like that is just ridiculous!

King finished the Melbourne show running around the stage singing the Locomation.

Here's one for tomorrow (Easter Friday):

Paul Ferreri (Aust) defeated John Feeney TKO round 13 of 15 – Sydney Opera House, NSW.
Ferreri makes the first of what would be 3 successful challenges during his second reign as Commonwealth bantamweight champion. In his first reigh he successfully defended it 3 times also.

Ferreri would have an amazing 14 year association with this title. First winning it in Sept 1972 against John Kellie (Scottland), and finally losing it at the end of his second reign to Ray Minus (Bahamas) in Sept 1986.

No, and surprisingly little interest for them too.

Was pitching at a particular market segment. But they must be saving the world from something else at present. Can't be easy being a crime fighter - so much to do, so little time!

Ahh.. the little crime fighter... Ty.. lmao.. As soon as I learn how to upload a PM, I'll up load the PM he sent this morning. For a midget without any grey matter in his head, who likes cheating on his wife AMY, with a drug addicted smelly slapper from McDonalds named SUSAN, he has a wondefully colourful sense of humour.
