I was thinking about this recently.

As I don't have a boxing gym quite near my or my budget, what are some good boxing workouts I can do in a normal gym minus the heavy/speed bag obviously?

I can do the cardio like running/skipping/shadow boxing myself but are there some good workouts I can do using the weights or machines?

So you are asking for conditioning.

Run a few miles at a high pace, working towards a 6 minute mile time. Calisthenics imo and in my personal experience are superior to weight training. Maintaining strength over a long time is going to be the biggest difficulty and the ultimate goal of conditioning. That is why I favor calisthenics. If you are looking to get powerlifter style strong or bodybuilder style body then weights are going to be what you want to use. For boxing stick with body weight.

Completely depends on who's training and what they're used for.

Also depends on if you have a clue what you're talking about. Need I say more?

Well virus looks like you proved to everyone once again that you talk out of your ass. I specifically said and emphasized that it was in my personal opinion and in my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. You had to single out one sentence because you couldn't refute anything else I said. You're pathetic...

You just like to start arguments like the clown you are. Need I say more?

Actually what you said was "Calisthenics imo and in my personal experience are superior to weight training." This implies that calisthenics are superior to weight training in all cases which is not the case.

If you would have stated specifics like you were recovering from an injury and in that situation calisthenics were superior, then fair enough, but that's not what you said.

And yes, I do add drama to the forum. It's fun to see people like yourself break down into tears and threaten to beat me up.

Do you not know what imo or personal experience means?

Your the laughing stock of this forum. I'm open to a contest of us hitting the bag and whoever gets less positive reviews leaves the forum forever. Unless you are too scared to be exposed as the fraud you are.

So you say I'm the laughing stock of the forum then post an immature, pointless challenge which proves nothing either way. Good job.

    You're embarrassing yourself again, mate.

Says the guy that broke down like a *****, had a temper tantrum and completely embarrassed himself because I wouldn't give him my address so he could fly over to the UK to fight me. LOL.

    Are we having fun yet?

I see that you also embarrass yourself with your ignorance over at another site. "First of all, the brain isn't fully developed until 25. If you don't know what you're doing with steroids you ARE going to **** yourself up. You still will even if you know what you're doing. Steroids give no good effects."

    LOL

I tend to follow the Charlie Zelenoff training routine if I'm forced to train in a normal gym.
All you need is a couple of pairs of boxing gloves and any gentle looking stranger to do some 'light sparring' with.
    It's a hell of a workout.

"Two demeaners generally. 1. They stare blankly but "amazed" for lack of a better fitting word (like when us guys are alone and we see a girl with a fat ass walk by or something of that nature) 2. They smile and stare

For example the way I mow the hill in my front yard I have to use a rope tied to the mower to guide it down and the milf that lives across the street likes to stare when I do it. I guess they think it is hard to pull it back up but mowers aren't that heavy. She literally moved onto her neighbors lawn to get a better view.

Hell, a gangbanger that lives down the street with tattoos covering almost his entire body was staring at my ass as I bent over to clear the grass out of the bag. When I stood up he got all embarrassed and drove off quick lol."

Hahaha. Of course everyone stares when they see you! You weigh what, 132lbs of sexiness? You ****ing beast!
