This only happens on these boards. In real life Pinoys get along with Mexicans real well. Never any major friction even in the arenas were Pinoys fight Mexicans. How many Pinoys you kick it with? It all good with Mexicans and Pinoys.

I had a good time there, even if Mexico got their ass kicked, I still enjoyed the event.

True, in southern California Mexicans and flips dont seem to have many problems, the cultures are similar. I have even learned a little tagalog, enough to spit at a girl a little bit... magundung babae (spelling  ).

Its Magandang. The thing is a Filipino family in SC always has some Mexicans in their extended family. I know my family got people talkin **** in the living room to each other come Pinoy vs. Mexican boxing time.

On my seat in the back row are all Mexicans, and I recognized some of them are Mex Prospects, one guy is like Twin brother of Jhonny Gonzales. After Bautista was KOed, they told me it's all right. I gave respect to Ponce, we shake our hands, my cousin talk to them in Spanish(his ex GF is Mexican). It's all good, just a Friendly rivalry. We just shake our heads if our boxers lose. Good thing we just did it once. It's about 50/50 Crowd, everybody gets their money's worth.

I ask the white guys in front of us, Who you rooting for? He said I just came here to see a good fight. Just to show that other Races recognized both Filipino & Mex fighters are worth watching.

sooooo .. let me .. get this straight..

the world cup was a set up .. so the "flip" nut huggers would have something to cheer for .. and .. the flips despite having fighters in the game that go who knows how far back ... are now "welcomed" to the sport of boxing ..

annnnd that you are banned from pacland for being objectful about "flip" fans

Damn...reallly Fred. I thought it was a good card with a lot of action. I don't think it was a set up though....I may be mis interpretting your meaning but I thought the fights were evenly matched and GREAT for boxing.

I don't think that there are more Flip fighters that are better than Mex fighters though. I just think that on Saturday the Flips preformed better, aside from Ponce's crazy 1st round KO over Boom Boom. I can't wait for the next world cup.!

Mexico has already established itself as a producer of quite a number of World Champions for so many years now in the lower weight class. It's just lately Philippines is starting to shine their own & I hope in the coming more years. Watch out Mexico! Philippines is catching up with ya.:hey

I expect that boys stay at home and grown up.
Bautista had 23 fights and 17 KOs so far.
Were these 23 fighters beaten by boy, so who did he beat, a preschool team?
