    When Robinson retired...

These guys who think the sport is just one or two men are laughable. The fool who started this thread must never have heard about Guillermo Rigondeaux, Roman Gonzalez, Gennady Golovkin, Sergey Kovalev, Andre Ward, Erislandy Lara, Terence Crawford, Vasyl Lomachenko, Juan Estrada, Shinsuke Yamanaka, Naoya Inoue, Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, Denis Lebedev, Marco Huck, Artur Beterbiev, etc.

Same here, if they were both to retire today it would be Canelo and Cotto as the main stars.

I don't think they retire though.

    nope, not really...

Do you know that people around the world watch other fighters more as they watch Pac and certainly Floyd?

I really don't think boxing will suffer. The purses may not be that great for the fighters because here is no real superstar or superstars on the level of Mayweather and Pac, but I feel that there are enough very good and talented boxers for it to continue to thrive. I will say that we must see the match ups. The fighters have to want to fight each other to see who is the best. I have always felt that there were too many belts in boxing but it is what it is.

Boxing is in a good place. All the negative publicity for Al haymon is not warranted. I will be the first to admit that I have never ordered a fight in my life because I can't afford it. But, being able to stream it, I promote, speak of, discuss with many outsiders who don't know boxing and get them into it. Basically, I work for the sport of boxing so no need to order.

There really is no marquee fighters after May and Pac retire but for Hardcore fans there plenty of exciting fighters to carry the torch collectively.

Boxing will be better after those two are gone.
