Basketball was first until a year or two ago.. Boxing is first now, Basketball is second, but I rarely watch any games. Since the lakers won the championship everybody I know jumped on the bandwagon and is a fan of the lakers..It disgusts me.
Boxing has been the number one sport for me since I was a kid. It's the only sport I really follow. Football comes second, but I don't follow it nearly as much as boxing.
football(big man utd fan) used to be first but ever since mayweather hatton build up boxing has took over! but it needs more big events (superfights) if it really wants to become more mainstream! i also like golf(mclroy and harrington fan) tennis(murrary gonna win australian open) formula 1 (schmacher" s back baby) ! i ll also watch darts if it is on and maybe snooker! how anybody can watch cricket is beyond me it is the most boring load of upper class crap i have ever seen! btw , go jedward and vanilla ice!
Boxing and MMA are clashing in all ppv main event fights. I wonder, can Boxing hold-off MMA? Obviously, gap between the two sports are only getting smaller. I talk to my boxing/mma friends and they tell me that they are more of a MMA fan now in comparison to Boxing. They enjoy MMA regardless who is fighting in the ring. They don't have to necessarily watch a big name fighter to get their thrills. They watch UFC, King of Cage, Strikeforce etc... MMA will keep on giving Boxing a good deal of rivalry in the years to come. MMA attracts a variety of Martial Art fans including Boxing fans and other sports fans.
Boxing has always been my number one sport. Now, football is my number two and baseball is my number three. When I was young, baseball was number two and football number three.
