Not since the golden age have I seen boxing on the FRONT PAGE of the Sports section. FINALLY!!!!! Pac's pic, with a story below by Lance Pugmire, is splashed on the front page of the LA Times Sports section, plus ALL of page two -- with a HUGE photo -- is devoted to the fight, and Manny's relationship with Roach.
Good news. And it's nice to see that it's not just the HWs either. Although I suspect Roach's being based in LA has something to do with this, and that some other major papers in other cities are not giving it enough play, it is great to see it getting attention for whatever reason!!
if you live in vegas its on the front page quite a bit. In fact they have had an article on the fight be on the front page everyday leading up to the fight.
