    Chris 'P' Bacon

'The Motor City Cobra' Thomas Hearns

    Robert 'Bam Bam' Hines

    'Box O' Tricks' Pedlar Palmer

    'The Mighty Atom' Jimmy Wilde

    James 'Bonecrusher' Smith

    'Iowa' Mike Tyson

    Clarance 'Bones' Adams

    Carl 'The Truth' Williams

    'The Black Cloud' Larry Holmes

    'Neon' Leon Spinks

    Ossie 'Jaws' Ocasio

Herol 'Bomber' Graham/Frank 'Bomber' Bruno, Graham claims it from school, Bruno was billed as such in his debut. I suspect both nicked it from 'Bomber' Pat Roach, a popular British actor/wrestler.

But I doubt no one is going to top: 'The Master of Disaster', 'The King of Sting', 'The Dancing Destroyer', 'The Count of Monte Fisto', 'The Prince of Punch', the one, the only, Apollo Creed!

uhlan was the name for polish cavalry armed with sable and speer. so a strange nickname since the rhine is in western germany and the polish border is at least 400 km away
