Tyson is regarded as one of the greatest Heavyweights and he said that he wishes he never met boxing.
floyd mayweather uses the riskiest style in boxing?:think break that one down for me bruh? so i'm guessing wladimir klitschko is a blood and guts warrior by all accounts too, huh? how can you even say that when there are guys like michael katsidis, marcos maidana, travis walker and many more in boxing today? come forward brawlers with little or no regard for defense as long as they're inflicting tremendous damage on their opponents?
i won't say the boxing world has abandoned there are fundraising events for him on both sides of the atlantic.if anything us healthcare has abandoned him
boxing's biggest disgrace, other than it's reliance on the race card to build fights throughout the history of the sport, is the lack of any sort of retirement compensation, health fund, or union. this is historically the most brutal sport to come along since the 1700's, with the most clear sufferers of trauma directly related to the sport, yet until this day, once you're done with boxing, you must fend for yourself in every sense of the world, and pray that you weren't ripped off throughout your career, and that you spent your money consciously (which isn't likely because 95 percent of boxers and former boxers aren't even remotely business savvy)
