zab is definitely one of the biggest, losing to any one important after all his hype

Zab was an excellent amateur and won three world titles in two weight classes. He beat good boxers in cory Spinks,Demarcus Corley,Junior Witter and Micky ward.He also fought the greatest fighters of this generation and gave them all a lot of trouble. You can say what you want about Judah but he fought the best of his generation so you have to give him respect.Hes no hype job

Ricky Hatton was hyped up for sure. The only name on his resume was Tszyu. He had a debatyable win over Collazzo and he got knocked cold by Manny and Floyd.

Mabey "hype job" is too strong a word for Zab but "didnt quite live up to expectation" is more appropriate

With his skills he should have beaten fighters like Clottey, Spinks (before the remach) and Baldomir

I do however like him and hope he starts to shine at 140

but for some reason, he cant put the blunts and the hennesy down.

He enjoys partying more then being the champ, mayweather nor mosley smokes or drink im sure pac probally has an ocassional cig and drink at the pool hall but for some reason I vision zab smoking in a clouded room until he passes out

Manny Pacquaio-ODLH was the golden goose and getting long in the tooth, Mayweather retired and although great was never hugely popular or beloved, so Manny was in the right place at the right time.....winning titles at catchweights, his promotor dissing other fighters, and everyone ignoring his deficienies as a fighter. Manny is a great fighter, but he is the biggest hype job since Ive been watching boxing period!!

He has beatin some great fighters as I mentioned, but the thread is talking about hypejobs. HBO carried and promoted this guy like the next big thing. He had some imppressive wins, but Barrera mugged and embarassed Hamed badly. So badly, that Hamed never was the same fighter. Yeah, Hamed was good, but all that HYPE faded in a matter of 12 rounds.
