fair enough:good best i can't argue with louis, with honourable mentions to hearns and arguello. foreman threw a right hand like a 4 year old swatting at fly during a picnic...his technique sucked ass but it got the job done. louis' right was directly from the textbook
it is simply absurd, i doubt seriously that a man who had no skill did beat peralta, frazier, norton and won the golden medal.it is pathetic the way that many people are underrating the skill of george. joe louis was more skilled and? it is not matter, foreman was much harder puncher than louis and he will be forever. even louis himself and dempsey said it in 1974, "foreman was the most powerful fighter and the strongest boxer we ever saw"
no one is, or should be, doubting foremans power. and big george post retirement improved in a lot of ways. his technique was better but watch the first frazier fight, his skill was limited at best. he got by on power and physical strength
The right hand that ended the evening for Nino Benvenuti was a thing of beauty. It was like an execution.
