Do you know a lot of them ? For my part : - The first fight between Ali and Liston would have been rigged. There are also suspicions about the rematch for obvious reasons. Note that there is an FBI investigation. - Marcel Cerdan had faked his loss against LaMotta. He was expected to win rematch and the third to be loyal. - Ali lost to Spinks on purpose to avoid facing Ken Norton for the fourth time.
I forgot two: - Bob Arum reportedly paid the judges to win Bradley over Pacquiao. - Luis Ortiz is older than he claims.
every time an italian fighter whooped a so called great of their era, people make conspiracy theories and excuses. I am tired of it.
Seldon took a dive against Tyson, now whether that was betting related or if he just wanted out of the fight without taking any damage and then collect his career high payday who knows ??
Ohh have a f*****g day off mate, to understand a freemason you would have to become one, and clearly you are not, just another failure who wanted to become one. Funny hand shake extended to you...
The dodgiest one imo is the Canelo Kovalev fight. Extremely dodgy because a lot of people genuinenly thought that wasn't a sparring session. Even a few high level fighters thought it was a bit suspect. Now there is no evidence to say oh this is a fix but just simply watching the fight itself, it looks completely fixed. When has Kovalev ever thrown jabs like that, and when the target is open to be tagged (no it isn't because Canelos a super duper ultra fantastic counter puncher). I can't remember Kovalev landing or even throwing a jab with any intent on it at all. Literally pawing, tapping.. there was nothing at all. Kovalev also threw no right hands with intent or any other form of punch with intent. Kovalev has fought far harder and bigger counter punchers like Ward and Eleider Alvarez. Yarde, despite his clear lack of ring IQ, has quite sharp counters and he is far harder hitter than Canelo (this isn't debateable). Kovalev threw no punches with intent, showed minimal hesitation to get out of position for counters, and showed barely any lateral movement. He looked very bored and almost content in there. In my opinion this cannot at all be explained by Kovalevs short camp. Which this in itself is weird af that Kovalev even accepted. His performance is in direct contrast to his two fights previous against Eleider and Yarde where he displayed his normal attributes. Not only this, but when the hell does the loser get a fight deal?? Ridiculous
it's really telling how many posters on here just used this thread to project their own obsession on. you wouldn't think a thread about conspiracy theories would be 30% Canelo shitposts but here we are. As to the actual intended subject, which is a fun thread idea: it's only a theory bc it was never confirmed but the whole Resto vs Billy Collins glove tampering being to the benefit of a crime syndicate who placed a large bet on Resto is one i've heard that was featured in assault in the ring. there's theories around Sonny Liston's death, whether he was murdered or killed himself rather than the official story of an OD. there's also that one with the old tyson fight from the 80s that has someone visible who really looks to be filming the right on a smartphone. time travel conspiracy theory around that. the suicides of both Edwin Valero and Arturo Gatti also have theories that the fighters were murdered. endless theories around judging of course. judges paid off, intimidated, etc.
Credo Mutwa says the Freemasons are pedophilic, lizard-aliens from the 4th dimension. Whaddayathinkabout that? Huh? One upped your crazy. Yeah. Suck on that.
Alexis Arguello's death has always been iffy. I know he suffered from depression and his wife claimed he indeed killed himself, however I remember he had some dispute with the Nicaraguan communist party then.
