Boxings Dirtiest Fighters Vid

I think that you... and most of the people who talk about the Hatton vs KT fight exaggerate the "dirty" fighting in a HUGE way. This is coming from someone who has always been a Kostya fan.

Kabary Salem is missing. He was a Headbutt Master - one that was really masterful in the department.

Among all-timers Fritzie Zivic and Sandy Saddler are missing. Miguel Cotto is a pretty dirty fighter if you ask me as well.

Funny vid. I have a problem with some of those images though, not all of those were dirty tactics. Some of those were accidental things caused by the opponent's actions.

But if you really want a complete list then you need some old time fighters there. I've seen black and white footage of guys actually practicing headbutts and elbows in the gym. Now those mother****ers were the very definition of dirty fighters and they were ****ing proud of it. These days fighters do a much better job of hiding or disguising their dirty tactics.

Rock Newman sure was a no good character wasn't he? And Evander's elbow at 3:29. Oh man. Isn't it ironic how many of the guys who were the opponents of the dirty fighters at the beginning of the video end up on the video later on as more dirty fighters themselves?

 

The Hopkins-Echols fight can't remember which one was of of the funniest fights in boxing history. If you haven't seen it you must see it.:rofl

 

Duran could be diirty early in his career

 

I havn't seen a Zivic fight but what i have read about him it amazing how he never got D'Q in any of his fights.

 

Those look like very real punches. Bowe did not hit him on the temple or right on the chin, so the fist did more contact damage, but Donald took it well. How unprofessional of Bowe.Rock Newman was behind a lot of that stuff. Donald looked like he did not expect it, but he might have a little because he absorbed two good punches. Why would Bowe risk his payday to do that if they were already going to fight anyway? If he knocks him out there that probably postpones the fight.

 

Dirty fighters like Golota and Holyfield deserve to fight each other. Holyfield is a lot greater than Golota, but Golota would have been hell for Evander.
