  1. This is a list of the greatest boxing nations since records began ( this method is not flawless but I gave it a go)

    Top 10 *** Most World Champions ***

    1) USA - 424

    2) Mexico - 107

    3) Great Britain - 74

    4) Japan - 54

    5) S. Korea - 44

    6) Puerto Rico - 42

    7) Thailand - 37

    8' France - 33

    9) Venezuela - 31

    10) Philipenes - 30




    *** Top 10 P4P Boxing's Greatest Nations ***

    This was calculated by the countries champions divided by there Current populations (again this system has it's flaws, but it's the fairest way)


    1) Puerto Rico - 10.5 Champions per Million

    2) Panama - 9.0 Champions

    3) Ireland - 1.5 Champions

    4) U.S.A - 1.38 Champions

    5) Dominican Rep - 1.3 Champions

    6) Great Britain - 1.23 Champions

    7) Venezuela - 1.17 Champions

    8' Cuba - 1.0 Champions

    9) Mexico - 0.9 Champions

    10) S. Korea - 0.89 Champions

    P4P the greatest boxing nation in the world is definetly Puerto Rico.

    Closely followed by Yorkshire :deal

    How many people do you think Mexico has? it has around 100-105 million people so based on you calculations Mexico should have around 1.07-1.02 champs per million so Mexico should be in your p4p list at about number 8...

    hmm says.. where did you get the data to make your list? Quite impressive how you narrowed down the number of champions to their respective country.
     
  8. It was all from Wiki so I can't guarantee 100% accarucy for example one boxer may be counted for 2 countries. stuff like that
