someone said this on the forum and it's so ****ing true. Sad but true.
mma's hw division as reached the bottom. And i find this to be kinda ironic to be honest.

They did what they could to reunite everyone under the same roof but that experience is not working at all.

Crocop = shot to the point of no return ( tysoned )
Gonzaga = overrated for beating a shadow of a fighter
Kongo = see above (mediocre kickboxer , no ground game)
Vera = see above (only difference..his hype started after defeating Mir)
Mir = shot / past prime + not even a poor man's nogueira in his prime.
Nogueira = shot ? maybe not , but he looked like **** against herring.
Sylvia = most overrated , one dimensional hw in ufc history.
Arlovski = looked like **** against werdum , inconsistent.
Werdum = boring and too hesistant , also looked like **** against AA
Herring = inconsistent , past prime.
Hunt = too heavy...he's signed but dana doesn't know what to do with him.
    Lesnar = a new hope ?...

Couture = no longer wants to fight for UFC.
Fedor = millionaire , will never fight for UFC.
Barnett = can't fight for the ufc even if he wants too..
Kharitonov = in japan...+ looked bad in his latest fight.

i'm missing some other names but i'm not gonna mention them all..
anyway...the point is....it's not looking good at all..

No sorry. but its been mentioned several times before. He's signed but not fighting because he's too heavy. They're waiting for him to do something about it. Hope they won't have the same problem with Lesnar.

You say HW division > MMA HW division but then don't include Fedor, Barnett and Randy. They are still active.

You have simply listed the UFC HW division. Also I am pretty confident I could easily make a list like that for boxing HW's.

You're right...i'm generalising here...and this concerns more ufc's division than all heavyweights in general...maybe it's not that bad afterall .

still ufc's hw division is not looking good at all and even makes boxing's hw division look great. at least that's my view on this...It's seriously disappointing.

CroCop has looked equally bad before, he can and will be back. He looked equally as bad in two fights against Randleman and Kanehara.

It's not like he forgot how to fight or got old overnight, if he keeps his new training camp he will be back I think.

I think maybe the HW's look so bad because Sylvia is representing them. I can't believe no one can take his game out. Couture did of course, but nobody else can. I think Arlovski can be a better fighter for sure, he has insane knock out power but he has that same safety style Sylvia does. I am hoping that maybe Vera didn't do more cause he broke his hand the first round, but who knows, Sylvia still couldn't do nothing to him. I was disappointed for sure.....

yes, that was a waste of time to read, you're a moron, racist, uninformed, or something along those lines. those nfl guys don't have a wrestling base and don't get me started on nba players.

I think he was being sarcastic and making light out of the "What other athletes would be good at boxing" thread where a large amount of people said that NFL stars are the greatest athletes and if they learned boxing would dominate.

That means nothing though. In my lifetime, boxing has had most of the good fighters in one or two weight classes. The heavy usaully sucked from a casual fans perspective but the lower weight classes were better most of the time because the good fighters good move up and down to make the big fights.

The heavy weight division does suck but it's runs on a cycle, eventually there will be a lot of fights there again. The welterweight, light heavy and 185 (middle?) has enough to make some decent cards.

    In my opinion.

Cro Cop should just fight Lesnar, he has something of a history of killing pro wrestlers.

And I don't think Nog is shot, just acclimatisation really. I think there's a reason Anderson Silva took to it so well and that's that he worked for Cage Rage inbetween PRIDE and UFC.
