Low Blows and Head-Butts can change a fight and if the Ref happens to miss it, the receiving party won't be able to recover. Do you think instant replay like the ones in baseball will for for boxing? If this would be the case, last nights event might have been corrected right away. I know this is a very complicated issue but is there a possibilty of this coming to fruition someday? Hope so.

did you turn off before the interview with Mora?
well the replay didn“t help him much...
on bigger cards highlights are often shown after the round on the big screen and the action should never be stopped to rewatch something that would be horrible..

No because too many things are judgement calls & matters of opinion. Last night it was blatant but a lot of times you'll see people disagree about stuff that is borderline.

Plus how would it work? A buzzer going off during the round when something illegal happens? Replays during the minutes rest?

Why was Mora sending Mares into a mutual corner in RD11 while Agbeko was still on his feet if he didn't think it was a low blow?

So, the camera man, in the miniscule amount of televised fights, can overrule the referee, who's calling a time-out, every time Nard lands anything but a lead right? It'd be different in every state, different with every promoter, different with every commentator, and different with every hometown crowd?

Cameramen film, commentators comment, promoters vote with their money, and posters up their count with stupid theories; none of them are referees. The ref can be overruled by the doctor and commissioner (and, for TKOs, the corners). I sure as anything wouldn't want Max Kellerman deciding a match I was fighting in, depending on what fairy tale he's currently writing.

Controversy is part of boxing and what makes it unique.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

They should definitley do this between rounds, double check on the referee's ruling and then change it officially if needed after watching a replay....be it a knockdown ruling, lowblow, whatever.

The refs actions would still impact the fight... For instance not giving a fighter hit by a low blow the time to recover. Still, it would be better than the current status. Even better: Keep things the way they are now and ban incompetent/corrupted refs and judges.
